Starting university is an exciting and transformative experience. To help students ease into this new chapter, NEXT Campus hosted its highly anticipated Induction Day in February, a dynamic and engaging event to introduce postgraduates and undergraduates to university life, academic expectations, and the vibrant student community.
As students arrived on campus, they were greeted with smiles, welcome packs, and the buzzing energy of a fresh start. The induction started with an official welcome address from Mr Shashrika De Mel, Head of Admissions and a video presentation from Dr Ron Cambridge, Head of Partnerships, setting an inspiring tone for the journey ahead.
Getting to Know the Campus & Community
Dr. Dusty Alahakoon, Chairman of NEXT Education Group, presented insights on NEXT Campus and NEXT Education Group. Ms. Nilakshi Senadhira, Head of Student Services, introduced the journey with NEXT. Faculty members shared key insights into their programmes, offering guidance and encouragement to the incoming students.
