The Diploma in Aviation Management (DiAM) programme offers comprehensive knowledge & skills in areas like Airline Operation Essentials, Aviation Business and Economics, Aviation Management Principles, Human Factors, and Sustainability in Aviation.

Diploma in Aviation Management (DiAM)
Modules
- The aim of the module is to give a comprehensive understanding on the total operations of an organization from managing supply chains, Logistics, procurement whilst considering quality control. Exploring the role of risk management & trying to mitigate risks that may arise through day-to-day operations. The importance of corporate social responsibility will be discussed and the impact it has on the environment that surrounds the organization.
- This module aims to explore the key features of the overall Human resource functions. It discusses Human resource policies and the impact it has on the overall business. One would learn to evaluate human resource processes against good practices & legislations. Also comprehend employee relation practices in maintaining a successful employee and organization relationship.
- This module covers essential aviation management principles, emphasizing key managerial skills. Learn to plan, organize, lead, and coordinate tasks to achieve goals. Adapt to changing economics with traditional and modern approaches, motivate teams, foster creativity, and navigate diverse workplaces. Gain practical skills in information management and task delegation for success.
- This module aims to discuss accounting principles, concepts & regulations. It enables one to develop understanding on the financial process of a business from recording financial transactions, preparation of financial accounts & analysis of financial statements. It provides an overall comprehension of financial accounting.
- This module will focus on the basics of project management. The module will give one an understanding project knowledge area & the project life cycle. Development of a project plan would be a key area of discussion & taking into consideration resource-based budgets, managing of stakeholders attached to the project. Knowledge on monitoring & controlling live project while mitigating risk that may arise during execution.
- This module covers corporate sustainability in aviation, highlighting the impact of climate change on businesses. It teaches the importance of sustainable practices and their influence through policies and agreements. Students will learn to address future challenges by examining sustainable business practices within ecological and socio-economic limits, applying these principles in various sectors.
The formative assessment programme is designed to ensure tasks are aligned to modules’ learning outcomes.
You will be assessed via individual reports, presentations and exams. It’s expected that you’ll have three assessments for each module.
- Have either 2 years of work experience in Aviation or
- Education qualifications related to the Aviation industry
